<p>Maybe I'm just not cynical enough, but today, I really am, to quote the cringey Lee Greenwood song, proud to be an American. I'm glad our current leader decided to let go of power because he believed, or at least was persuaded, it would be best for the country. This also brings to mind a much less cringey song, "One Last Time" from Hamilton, the one about Washington's farewell address. Yes, I know, Biden is no George Washington.</p>
