<p>integrated ACIs are neat though. (also shouldn&#39;t they be called FCIs? FR4, not air)</p><p>inductors are mostly just fancy coils of wire so there&#39;s nothing to stop you making an inductor in a PCB using loops of copper and vias.</p><p>here are four topologies: toroidal with rectangular interconnect, toroidal with trapezoidal interconnect, toroidal with trapezoidal interconnect and parallel outer pillars (vias), and a solenoid inductor with rectangular interconnects. I&#39;ve seen the last type on a few designs.</p>
