<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@gamingonlinux" class="u-url mention">@<span>gamingonlinux</span></a></span> probably the issue is exacerbated by blueprint shaders and other tools that allow creating materials without having to write shader code. They probably end up creating thousands of those shader variations instead of the same shader code for similar materials.</p><p>This is probably why UE4 and UE5 are so hit by those issues.</p>
