Asbestos is a mineral habit, how it grows. There are 2 main types, serpentine and amphibole. Most asbestos ever mined was serpentine which both ~has curly ends and dissolves in acidic. The rest was the amphibole which has a needle shape, is super hard, and doesn't dissolve in shit. Blue asbestos is riebeckite and one of pointiest /least amphiboles.</p><p>Long story short there is better and worse asbestos the blue shit was the absolute deadliest of the bad.</p>
